The Jump 2017 leapt into Alpine action with a 90-minute launch show on Channel 4. Here are the main talking points and social media reaction from Sunday night's show...

Sweary cyclist Wiggo stole the show

Well, Sir Bradley Wiggins was the headline name and duly lived up to his billing - but not with anything he did out there on the slopes. While the other contestants arrived by dancing and high-fiving into presenter Davina McCall's ski-lodge, Wiggo trudged in with poker face and lack of fanfare. In his opening interview, Davina asked the bearded Olympian why he was doing the show. "Just to p**s off the Daily Mail," deadpanned Wiggo. Oops. And welcome to The Jump, pre-watershed audience.
