KKR v RCB Match 17 Match, IPL 2019, Live Cricket Score 5 April 2019 – SolangiSat

IPL – Indian Premier League 2019 17th T20 match between Kolkata Knight Riders v Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 05 at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru; the match starts at 02:30 PM GMT. KKR v RCB have played 23 games against each other in IPL so far, KKR won 14 and RCB won 9 games.

Indian Premier League 2019, also known as VIVO IPL 2019 is the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League. The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a professional men’s Twenty20 cricket league in India contested between eight teams representing eight cities of India. The league is organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

About the Match

Royal Challengers Bangalore slipped to their fourth consecutive defeat in IPL 2019 and now find themselves in a very sticky spot. Assuming 8 wins is what will get you through to the IPL 2019 playoffs, RCB now needs to win 8 out of its 10 remaining matches. The task ahead of RCB is not about to get any easier just yet.

Royal Challengers Bangalore will be taking on the Kolkata Knight Riders at home. RCB vs KKR IPL 2019 in Bengaluru may appear to be a mismatch of sorts. After all, RCB has lost all of its matches this season and has appeared the worst side of the tournament while KKR has been extremely impressive. KKR narrowly lost out in the Super Over to the Delhi Capitals and will be keen to get back to winning ways.

Can RCB finally break their losing streak against KKR?

Royal Challengers Bangalore

Virat Kohli made a couple of changes to his side in the previous match against the Rajasthan Royals but they did not pay off. Marcus Stoinis was brought into the side in place of Colin de Grandhomme while the other three overseas players remained the same. We suspect it is time to bring in Nathan Coulter-Nile, Henrich Klaasen, and Washington Sundar into the mix in place of Shimron Hetmyer, Moeen Ali, and maybe Navdeep Saini.

Kolkata Knight Riders

The Kolkata Knight Riders have been the most impressive team in IPL 2019. They may have lost their previous match to Delhi but they showed just why they are regarded as serious title contenders this year.

KKR had to deal with an injury to Sunil Narine and that upset their plans. They opted to play with three overseas players and gave Nikhil Naik a chance at the top of the order. He looked out his depth at the top of the order and did not bowl a single ball.

The return of Sunil Narine is likely but if for some reason he does not recover fully, we expect to see a different player in place of Naik. Shubman Gill is another player that could open the batting for KKR.

Andre Russell continued his incredible run with 62 off 28 balls. He smashed six sixes in the inning and helped KKR recover from a difficult position. With batsmen like Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik, and Shubman Gill in the side as well, the Kolkata batting lineup is very strong.
